Lyndsay Smith is the QIC Program Specialist. Prior to joining the QIC-LGBTQ2S, Lyndsay worked at the LGBT Network of Queens and Long Island for three years. As the pioneer manager of the agency’s Queens LGBT Community Center, she oversaw the agency’s New York City presence including LGBTQ Cultural Competency trainings, HIV Prevention Outreach and Education, and Capacity Building. Lyndsay previously taught middle school music in Baltimore County, and worked as a music therapist. Lyndsay has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Therapy from Elizabethtown College and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Music Education from Towson University, as well as coursework in LGBTQ Studies and Human Sexuality Education.
